I also wish to thank to the kind and understanding personnel of endocrine gynecology department where i finished unexpected and unusually after cesarean section.

I give my thanks to the ladies who were on the same boat with me and gave me the support as future mothers.

Finally I wish to thank to my eldest son, my mother and my partner Dejan for care, as well as my kids for waiting for me, and well, anyone random who came to me with smile, kind word and understanding.

Life is full of challenges and sometimes challenges choose us to be carriers.

She died due to triploidy pregnancy which occurs very but very rare and is considered as natural accident and quite rare genetic disorder. Till now not too much is known about this condition as i like to think she was born before her time.

Triploidy is condition that is not compatible with life and is not connected with mother`s ages, as some conditions and syndromes are. Such pregnancies end very early, most often till the 20th week but she was fighter till the end and reached full term and even lived for couple of hours.

It is very rare 1:10000 that such baby lives to full term but, unfortunately, there is no chance to survive. Triploidy babies have 69 chromosome set instead of 46, as well different enzymes of blood coagulation and biochemistry in general.

It is not the rule that they have obvious malformations as she did not have too many and obvious, indeed she was beautiful. Nature does have accidents and we could not change anything to make it work and we did not do anything to make it happens. We are grateful for her eight hours with us as I am grateful for all the time I carried her.

Funeral of our unique little fighter will be held on 8th March 2011. Her urn will be placed in her great grandmother`s grave as it is more appropriate than to disperse ash where the law told us to do it.
